The Thailand Elite Visa is a long term Thai visa that falls under the privilege entry visa program. It is managed by the Thailand Privilege Card Company Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport.
This program aims to promote Thailand as a country of high-earning and wealthy foreigners. It offers a privilege visa, a long-term multiple entry visa, and allows for the right to reside in Thailand for up to 20 year. Individuals such as digital nomads, retirees, and investors who travel to and from Thailand multiple times per year, are eligible for this program.
What are the benefits of the Thai Elite Visa?
The Thai Elite Visa is a five-year, renewable multiple entry visa that allows for a maximum of one year stay at each entry.
A Thai Elite visa holder is allowed to stay in Thailand for an unlimited period of time without having to leave the country or run visa runs.
Thai Elite Visa holders will be represented on the 90-day reporting required by Thai Immigration by the Thai Elite staff.
Holders of the Thai Elite Visa will be granted expedited immigration formalities as well as passport control processing upon arrival in Thailand.
Thai Elite Visa holders will also be entitled to other benefits, such as complimentary airport transportation, golf and spa treatments, and annual hospital checkups. There are also a variety of dining, shopping, and resort experiences.
What qualifications are required to be a Thai Elite?
For Thai Elite Visa, applicants must possess and keep the following qualifications:
Holder of a passport from abroad
The applicant is allowed to remain in Thailand under the immigration laws. This means that there are no previous overstays in Thailand.
This program does not have a minimum age, except for Elite Ultimate Privilege, which requires that you be at least twenty years old
Except for negligence offenses, not being sentenced to imprisonment by any judgment in any country
Not being declared bankrupt
Not being declared as someone of incompetence, unsound mind, or quasi-incompetence
Is there any restriction on nationality when applying for the Thai Elite Visa
Some countries are not eligible to apply. These countries are listed below:
Africa: Central Africa Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo and Republic of the Congo.
Middle East: Algeria. Iraq. Egypt. Iran. Lebanon. Libya. Palestine. Syria.
Asia: Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and North Korea
